C.J. Conner is a lady who leads a treasured life in the northwoods of Wisconsin.  Surrounded by wildlife and the charms and plagues of nature, C.J. paints as her heart dictates.  She creates nostalgic images of times gone by or surrealistic scenes expressing her total involvement with the natural setting in which she lives.

As she was walking one day she conceived the idea for Where the Heart Is..., a personalized mailbox print.  The organization Habitat for Humanity out of Eau Claire, Wisconsin, decided they would like to sell some of her prints.  Since Former President Jimmy Carter was instrumental in the founding of Habitat for Humanity, she personalized the first print off the press for him by painting Carter on the mailbox.  The organization then presented it to him.

She found that, besides being the perfect Christmas gift for a friend that has everything, it is a wonderful wedding gift, shower gift, or house warming present.  She is proud to state that these prints can be found in over 500 galleries across the country.
