MEETINGS ARE WEDNESDAY AT 6:30 PM IN ROOM 122 OF THE SCIENCE BUILDING.

As you might have noticed, humans have been interacting with their environment for quite some time. The study of the relationship between people, plants, and animals is known as ethnobiology. A big question this field seeks to understand is how people use nature. It's easy to ask, but not so simple to answer. Every human society has their own distinct use of the environment. As students of Wisconsin, the UW-Stevens Point Society of Ethnobotany focuses on the local flora and fauna. We'll be going out to Shmeekle Reserve for food and medicine, dieing clothes the natural way, listening to guest speakers, and other suggestions members might have.
