MYOFACIAL RELEASE
Myofascial release therapy uses massage-type techniques. The therapist uses these to coax muscles that are in spasm to relax. It’s believed that chronically tense muscles restrict blood flow and thus fatigues the body. Practitioners apply gentle pressure to the connective tissue so normal alignment and full function can be restored. It’s suitable for chronic pain, especially neck and back pain, headaches, and sports injuries.
